Guitar legend Nuno Bettencourt has launched Nuno Guitars, introducing the Dark Horse and White Stallion as the first in his new line. Built with the same intensity he brings to every performance, these models carry forward the spirit of the N4 while opening a direct line between Nuno and the players who pick them up. More than instruments, they are an invitation to join a community where fans and musicians connect over a shared fire for the guitar. This seems to be trend, and rightly so, for known players. Founding bassist Chris Beattie is suing Jamey Jasta and Hatebreed over his 2023 dismissal, claiming a harassment story was invented to push him out and carve up touring and merch profits. The band’s lawyers say it is just another break up case with no contract keeping Beattie in. You know the cash pile is not what it once was when the big move is dropping another old lyric video instead of new music.

CBGB Fest rolled on with Iggy Pop hitting the stage, raw and unfiltered as ever. It may not look pretty, but he is still out there doing it, sweating it out in front of a crowd that would rather see chaos than nostalgia. You have to respect it. Beats rotting away at home waiting for the phone to stop ringing.

AI just turned one of metal’s darkest classics into a funk and disco fever dream. The good is that technology can reimagine legends in ways no tribute band ever could. The bad is that it risks sliding into gimmick territory instead of genuine art. The ugly is when machines start remixing sacred albums, leaving purists to wonder if this is honoring a legacy or watering it down.🤘
